My Contributions
This was a very challenging project. I was the lead UX, UI, product designer. The organization had recently rebranded and this Media Library project was chosen as an early adopter for the new style. This added lots of challenges in that lots of items we needed hadn't been defined or designed yet. This included audio and video players as well as many other elements. It was used as a test case for many content components because of it's heavy reliance on media. Because of this, a few other content focused websites and tools have been based off of the designs created for Media Library.
Media Library
Lead design
One of the challenges this project faced was being able to use dark values. As newly rebranded organization, there is a heavy emphasis on light and brightness. Through design, conversations, and testing, we ultimately decided that a darker color would help the content stand supreme as well as be a little easier on the eyes to consume, specifically images and videos.

We also worked in conjunction with the search team to overhaul the search functionality and how it integrates into the Media Library product. Search had always been an extreme weakness for the media library, rendering the website difficult and hard to find relevant materials.

Product is in development.
